Erin Winemiller
Erin has been on the faculty of the Chamber Music Camp of Portland since 2008.  Erin currently maintains a large studio of private cello students in Vancouver and NE Portland.  She is also on the faculty of the Community Music Center in SE Portland, Rose City Music Academy, and Oregon Episcopal School.

Erin has been a freelance cellist and teacher for more than a decade.  She was appointed Assistant Principal Cello of the Vancouver Symphony in 2007, and has previously performed with the Portland Chamber Orchestra, Columbia Symphony, Astoria Music Festival, Portland Summerfest Opera, Sunnyside Symphony, Beaverton Symphony, Rose City Chamber Orchestra, Oregon East Symphony, and Walla Walla Symphony.  Erin has also been involved in Portland’s alt classical scene including performances with Filmusik, Classical Revolution PDX, FearNoMusic, and Portland Cello Project, and has made two appearances on OPB’s Art Beat.  Erin is an active chamber musician and recitalist and currently performs several chamber groups including the Melegari Chamber Players and the dtq quartet.

In addition to her experience as a cellist, Erin holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Portland State University and has served as a therapist and crisis counselor.
